Dominic Raab says they must have plans in place in case of no deal

New Brexit negotiator suggested the UK might not pay its 39 billion pound divorce bill if no trade agreement with the EU is reached.

In comments to the Sunday Telegraph he said the UK must be able to create a new relationship with the EU.

"You can't have one side fulfilling its side of the bargain and the other side not, or going slow, or failing to commit on its side," he said.

Raab also said the government must also prepare in case of a no-deal outcome in comments to the BBC.
