NZ data - ANZ Consumer Confidence Index for April +4.2% m/m to 115.4

• prior -2.0% m/m to 110.8

The index is now back at levels pre-pandemic (to its highest since February of 2020). ANZ says the levels of the index indicate continued growth for the economy but at a slower pace than during the bounce-back.

NZD little changed after the data release.
