Tokyo's main index closes higher on the day as Asian equities post a solid session

Stocks in Asia are buoyed after Wall Street's performance on Friday, and also the fact that Treasury yields have declined quite a bit from recent highs. US 10-year yields are now at 2.857%.
Other markets in Asia sees the Hang Seng up by 0.72%, Shanghai Composite up by 1.17%, CSI 300 up by 1.20%, Kospi up by 0.22%, and Australia's ASX 200 index closing earlier with gains of 0.71%.
