NY Fed consumer expectations shows 1 year inflation expectations remains unchanged

A NY Fed survey is showing:

  • 3 year ahead inflation expectations comes in at 2.7% vs 2.8%
  • 1 year ahead inflation expectations unchanged in July at 2.54%
  • Household income growth expectations rise to series high at 2.59% vs 2.54% last month
  • Spending expectations fell to 2.8% vs 3.3%
  • Income growth expectation s at 3% vs 2.7% in June

The survey of about 1,200 household head is conducted monthly.
