Hedge fund titan draws Bannon's wrath
Steve Bannon told Trump he is going "off the chain" to destroy Elliot Management CEO Paul Singer, according to an Axios report.
The comment was made in a Trump-Bannon phone call on Friday, according to the report. The Breitbart website now features a few attacks on Singer.
The genesis is a report that a group Singer funded was the money behind the Trump Dossier -- a report he was connected to Russia with some lurid sexual details.
I hope Singer writes a book one day because he is one of the craziest guys alive. His vulture fund is absolutely relentless. He fought the Argentine government for more than a decade after its 2001 default. Along the way, he had an African country seize one of Argentina's ships.
Now he's on Trump's bad side.
