Philly Fed non-manufacturing index
- Prior was -82.5
- Full time employment index -23.4 vs -47.5
- New orders -32.4 vs -67.2 prior
The worst of the contraction was in April but the economy continued to contract in May. Later today we get consumer confidence for May and that should offer some clues on how much (or little) spending will bounce back.
