Putin sees no need for Russia to use retaliatory sanctions now but may reconsider participation of Western companies in its energy projects if sanctions continue.
That’s a surprise and it’s good news for risk trades. Previously Russia had pledged to respond to Western sanctions with an equal and opposite response.
Update: and the good news keeps coming with a leader of the Ukrainian rebels announcing an early release of German hostages.
