Record closes for the Dow and S&P. Nasdaq up about 1% (but no record).

Stock markets are more comfortable with pace of tariffs (and hopes for a solution).

The US stock indices are closing sharply higher with the S&P and Dow reaching new record highs. For the Dow the record high moved above the January 26th old high. For the S&P, the last record was more recent on August 29th. For the Nasdaq, the record is still around 105 points from the record high.

The final numbers are showing:

• S&P is up 22.8 points or 0.78% at 2930.75. The new all time high price is now at 2934.80
• Nasdaq is up 78.197 points or 0.98% at 8028.23. The all time high price is at 8133.29.
• Dow is up 251.22 points or 0.95% at 26656.98. The new all time high price reached 26697.49 today.
