Stop asking for more help, Germany tells Greece
Schaeuble told Bild am Sonntag in unusually blunt language that Greece has forfeited much of Europe’s trust during the sovereign debt crisis.
Schaeuble also said eurobonds would lead to “spending other people’s money”
Bild took a poll of 4000 people in Germany, France, Spain and Italy with a large majority in all 4 countries saying they did not ever expect Greece to pay back its debts. 78% of Germans and 65% of Frenchmen want Greece to leave the eurozone while Italy and Spain are split 50/50.
