The services sector shows an improvement and that lifts the overall composite reading as well. However, looking at the details, things aren't too encouraging with the new business index falling from 54.6 in December to just 53.0 in January. That's the lowest reading for new business sentiment in 25 months.
EUR/USD sits at the lows for the day still, now at 1.1417 but in a 25 pips range so far today only. EUR/GBP is also a little lower at 0.8761 currently.
