The reading is a little better-than-expected and improved slightly from June but it still reaffirms that Spain's manufacturing sector is still in decline, just less rapidly. The bounce also sees manufacturing output rise from 47.4 in June to 48.0 in July but overall conditions remain subdued as factory activity holds near levels last seen since 2013.
