Spain to revise growth forecasts up to 1.5% for 2014 and 2.0% for 2015

That’s according to the Spanish econ ministry.

Last week the Bank of Spain also raised their forecasts to 1.3% from 1.25 for 2014 and 2.0% from 1.75 for 2015

Economic minister Luis de Guindos adds that the economy is entering a sustainable growth cycle and domestic demand is growing faster than expected as confidence improves.

If they can start hacking away at the horrendous unemployment level then the Spaniards may have a shot at getting themselves back on their feet.
