Markets relatively calm ahead of non-farm payrolls

Traders are hesitant to make any moves ahead of non-farm payrolls and that's left markets largely unchanged on the day ahead of the report.

I think worries about some kind of hack, leak or report about Hillary Clinton on the weekend will push risk trades lower today.

Another kind of worry could also be a factor. CBS News reports there is a credible Al Qaeda terrorist threat about attacks planned for Monday in three states: New York, Texas and Virginia.

A senior FBI official told CBS News, "The counterterrorism and homeland security communities remain vigilant and well-postured to defend against attacks here in the United States. The FBI, working with our federal, state and local counterparts, shares and assesses intelligence on a daily basis and will continue to work closely with law enforcement and intelligence community partners to identify and disrupt any potential threat to public safety."
