Switzerland takes top prize for a second straight year in the world banknote contest

Switzerland's 10-franc bill was named the best banknote of 2017, edging out money from Scotland, Canada, Fiji, Norway, and Djibouti. If there's one thing the SNB is good at, this is it.

And does it really surprise you? The SNB is so committed to the cause of printing money - aesthetically pleasing ones have you will - that they even bought a majority stake in a company that manufactures them at the end of last year!
