National Journal says Rob Portman will vote against it

A third vote against it means it's dead.

Rand Paul said he's a hard no. Susan Collins says she's inclined to vote against it. Now moderate Rob Portman of Ohio said he will vote 'no'.

John McCain also had some negative things to say about it, so even if Collins has a change of heart, it's not likely to go anywhere.

So it's basically back to the drawing board for healthcare reform.

There could be some risk aversion on this but there was a lot of talk that it was already DOA, dating back to last week.

Update: Looks like Collins is a hard 'no'.

Update 2: Looks like the National Journal might have taken what Portman said out of context. He's not a hard no. Sounds like he's undecided.
