The US and China are feeling out dates and locations for an upcoming summit between Trump and Xi but so far they haven't been able to find common ground, according to the South China Morning Post.
China is pushing for something around the Boao Forum for Asia near March 26-29.
Axios meanwhile reports that Trump is hoping to meet at Mar-a-Lago in mid-March.
The scheduling of a meeting is going to be a key announcement. It will be a concrete indication that a trade deal is close and expected to be completed.
