Trump tweeting ahead of the NATO summit in Brussels
Yep, we're getting his barrage of tweets a little earlier this week as he is in Belgium for the NATO summit. I don't think conversations between him and Merkel will go down all too well, and if the G7 summit body language analysis is anything to go by then surely he will not be impressed with what other leaders have to say about his statements:
At this point, China is taking most of the heat from the trade rhetoric with the US. But I'm sure European businesses will feel more and more uneasy the more he singles them out on trade. To some extent, he's not wrong when you look at the starting point for levies applied on things like autos/cars.
But I still find it amazing we're living in a world where Twitter has become arguably the most important resource tool in trading these days.
