UK NIESR Q4 GDP estimate q/q +0.6% vs +0.5% expected

December reading released by NIESR on UK's GDP, released ahead of schedule - 10 January 2018

• Prior +0.5%; revised to +0.6%
• Estimates that UK economy expanded 1.8% in 2017

Just an indicator of what to expect from UK GDP in the 3 months to December (essentially Q4). Cable is now trading at 1.3555 on the back of dollar weakness while EUR/GBP is markedly higher on the day at 0.8861 - near session highs of 0.8865.
