The UK ONS estimates that 1 in 100 people in England have had covid-19; up from 1 in 130 the week before.
They estimate that in England 51,900 new cases per day took place last week versus 35,200 the week before. The number of positive cases in all of the UK yesterday was 23,078.
Further virus curbs can't be far off.
