The showdown has begun
The idea here is that most backing Johnson's camp wants the amendment defeated as it would lead to the Brexit motion later not being a "meaningful vote".
To those unaware, the Letwin amendment would withhold parliamentary approval for the Brexit deal until further primary legislation has been passed. In essence, it is an insurance to prevent a no-deal Brexit outcome.
The results should be out in about 15 minutes.
