Right, so no comments by Theresa May herself but sending out someone else instead. But it pretty much confirms the message that is sent across earlier in the day. That indicates that there will definitely be a sticking point in negotiations as the EU is adamant on leaving the backstop agreement period open-ended while the UK wants to put a deadline on it.
