S&P, Nasdaq and Dow end week down another 2-3%

The US stock indices ended the day down on the day, but off the lows.

  • S&P index fell 41.57 points or 2.16%. It closed at 1880.28. The low extended to 1857.83. The high came in at 1916.68.
  • Nasdaq composite index fell 126.58 points or 2.74%. It closed at 4488.42. The low extended to 4419.406. The high came in at 4520.45
  • Dow Jones industrial average fell 390.90 points or 2.39%. It closed at 15988.15. The low extended to 15842.11. The high extended to 16354.33
