S&P the biggest decliner for the day

  • The NASDAQ composite index is ending down -19.271 points or -0.28% at 6856.527. The low for the day reach 6851.633
  • The Dow industrial average is ending down -75.94 points or -0.31% at 24509.49

Some winners include:

  • Boeing rose by 0.72% continuing its run higher
  • Twitter rose 4.25% and trades at new 52-week highs
  • Amazon rose by 0.87%
  • Netflix increase by 0.9%
  • Alphabet rose by 0.82%

Losers include:

  • Microsoft down -0.77%
  • Citigroup down -1.61%
  • J.P. Morgan down -0.80%
  • Alibaba down -2.81%. It has fallen from a high of 191.75 less than a month ago.
  • Apple was near unchanged levels on the day
