What's expected for stocks
S&P 500 futures point to a 9 point gain at the open after a 1.5 point gain a day ago.
Shares of Netflix and Qualcomm are leading the way. Netflix initially tumbled on earnings but has turned around and is now higher. Qualcomm jumped 20% yesterday and is slated to climb another 10% today after announcing the end of a patent dispute with Apple.
The S&P 500 is 27 points from an all-time high.
