Obama and Clinton have each called on Syria’s Assad to leave office. They’ve ratcheted up sanctions (yeah, that’ll work) and have gotten buy-in from European allies. Fine. So long as there are no fresh military excursions in the region, the news will have no market impact (and Obama says there will be none).
Not a factor now but bears watching…
