Reports of at least two people dead
Reports say a white van in the north end of the city plowed into a sidewalk and then fled the scene. Reports say 8-12 people were hit and at least two are dead.
Pictures of the van have appeared on Twitter but no word on the driver.
This certainly looks like terrorism. It would be awfully coincidental if it happened to park in front of some flags that say 'Tehran' too.
USD/CAD is at the highs of the day but I wouldn't expect the incident to have an effect on the currency.
Update: Police report that the driver has been arrested.
