Bitstamp just above MA line
The price of bitcoin, has taken a peak below the 200 hour MA at 17936.08. The low just reached 17755.
The move below is only a less than $200, but apart from a single hourly bar that dipped below on November 29th,the price has not been below the MA since November 15th.
Longs should be cautious. We could see some more corrective action.
PS the digital currency fell below the 100 hour MA earlier in the day and has been able to stay below that MA since the break. The 100 hour MA currently comes in at 18783.2207
On the Bitstamp exchange the price did dip below the 200 hour MA at 17612 to a low of 17600 but remains just above the MA line at 17760. A move below that MA could help the downside potential.
