German DAX and France's CAC close near unchanged levels
The major European indices are ending the session with mixed results:

in the European debt market, the benchmark 10 year yields are ending with mixed results:
In other markets as European traders look to exit for the day:
- spot gold $-4.70 or -0.31% at $1543.15
- WTI crude oil futures plus $0.32 or 0.53% at $58.38
In the US stock market the Dow is higher but the S&P and NASDAQ are marginally lower:
- Dow industrial average +109 points or 0.38% at 29016
- S&P index -1.3 points or -0.04% at 3286.87
- NASDAQ index -7.7 points or -0.08% 9266.48
In the US debt market yields are lower with the 10 year down -2.8 basis points. The 2 – 10 year spread is more narrow by about 2 basis points on the day to 24.18 basis points.
