Most European indices end up but near the lows

German Dax ends lower

The European shares are ending the session with gains with the exception of the German Dax. That's the good thing. The bad thing most of the major indices ended near the lows for the day.

The chart below is a snapshot of the ranges and closes for the major indices (and the current US indices which are at the lows). With the exception of the UK FTSE, the other indices are ending at the lows.
