Nasdaq closes higher for the 10 time in 11 days

Dow stays above 26K

The stocks are ending the session higher but off the session highs. There was chatter about Mexican tariffs on steel. That stalled the rally that got its motivation from US/China trade deal hope earlier in the day.

The final numbers are saying:

• The S&P up 3.44 points or 0.12% at 2796.11. The high reached 2813.49.
• The Nasdaq up 26.916 points or 0.36% at 7554.46. The high reached 7602.69
• The Dow up 60.14 points or 0.23% at 26091. The high reached 26241.42

So you can see, the closing levels are a good way off the highs.

For the Nasdaq the index has been up 10 of 11 days.
For the S&P, the index got within 3% from the all time high.
