Boeing still a drag for the Dow
The major indices are opening mixed, with the Dow being dragged lower by Boeing (down -2.4%) and Disney (down -1.31%).
The snapshot a few minutes from the opening is showing:
- S&P index, +5 points or 0.18% at 2827.50
- NASDAQ index +16.5 points or 0.22% at 7705
- Dow industrial average -36 points or -0.15% at 25807

In the US debt market, yields are a bit higher than earlier New York session levels:
- 2 year, 2.450%, +1.2 basis points
- 5 year 2.411%, +1.6 basis points
- 10 year 2.605%, +1.8 basis points
- 30 years 3.022%, +1.1 basis points
In other markets:
- Spot gold is up $3.13 or 0.24% at $1305.60
- WTI crude oil futures are trading near unchanged levels of $58.55.
In bitcoin over the weekend the price moved back above the $4000 level to a high of $4037 on Coinbase. The price has moved back down off that level but the low today at $3937.69 has been able to remain above its 100 hour MA at $3932.42 (currently).
