The Bank of Japan is trying to combat deflation, but check out what they're doing with monetary policy meetings in 2016...

First, the meeting schedule for 2015 ... a healthy 14 meetings:

Now, lets take a look at 2016:

Down from 14 to 8 meetings! Deflation!!!
