Bitcoin price in South Korean exchanges are lower than exchanges in the US
At one point last month, the premium between the two exchanges were as high as 43%. Now, it has completely flipped on its head.
As cryptocurrencies continue to tumble further, South Korean exchanges are now pricing Bitcoin at a discount to exchanges overseas.
Price on the Coinbase's exchange is at ~$8,550 but two of Korea's biggest exchanges have prices at ~$8,300 levels. The two South Korean exchanges that is used as a benchmark here is Bithumb and Coinone.
