Australian dollar traders – Heads-up for Minutes of the RBA November meeting and Governor Stevens speech

The Minutes of the November 2014 Monetary Policy Meeting of the Reserve Bank Board are due for release today at 0030GMT.

The report on the meeting is here (there was no change in policy). Three days after the meeting the bank published its Statement on Monetary Policy for the 2014 (it is published quarterly). With the statement following on so quickly from the meeting the minutes should be very much in line with the SOMP: Reserve Bank of Australia Statement on Monetary Policy published

Later, at 0825GMT (7.25pm Sydney time) RBA Governor Stevens is speaking at the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) Annual Dinner 2014, Melbourne.
