XRP gets the golden endorsement
Coinbase will add Ripple to the stable of cryptocurrencies on the largest US exchange. XRP is up 12% on the news however it only erases yesterday's drop.
It's a big news but not as big as you would expect. The difference is likely because there have been persistent rumors that this was coming for awhile.
Ripple is still about 10% below where it was when the latest round of rumors stated in mid-December.
It will first be available in the EU, Canada, US, UK Singapore and Australia and "additional jurisdictions may be added at a later date."
Trading will be rolled out in four stages as the order book fills up. Mobile trading will be added at a later date.
