USD/CAD may not stray too far from the 1.00 area for the next 35 minutes as there are large option exasperation at that strike at the 15:00 GMT cut. For whatever reason, large strikes tend to have a magnetic effect on price action near large expiries.
After the options cut, it can go on its merry way…
