I don't know how much you can rely on the info in this article, but I found it an interesting read.
Reuters spoke to 13 executives in charge of China operations at international firms and got varied responses, but in summary, 9 of them said China was growing at 3 to 5%, not at 7%
This is all anecdotal and when reading it I couldnlt help but be wary of bias (theirs, and mine!)and maybe a little arse-covering. But maybe I'm wrong.
Make your own mind up, at the very least its an interesting piece.
