The EU has agreed to an extension, as posted eaerlier here:

• Brexit - EU's Tusk says EU27 unanimously agrees its response to UK's requests

Summary:

• EU agrees extension until May 22 if Brexit deal approved by parliament next week
• If not approved - extension until April 12

EU reiterating the harder edge to its position:

• withdrawal agreement cannot be renegotiated
• any unilateral statement must be in line with withdrawal agreement
• calls for work to be continued for no deal Brexit preparations
