Atlanta Fed sees meager growth

The initial GDPNow forecast from the Atlanta Fed for the first quarter is 0.3%.

Yesterday's first reading on Q4 GDP was 2.6% compared to the 1.8% final estimate from the Atlanta Fed. We will have to see where it ends up after revisions because trade is likely going to be a drag once the final numbers are in.

The New York Fed is also out with its Nowcast and sees Q1 at 0.9%.
