- Conditions are still elevated
- But off the late 2017 highs and the first half of this year
ANZ:
- Australian business conditions are likely to be relatively unchanged in October, in line with other business surveys. Conditions have pulled back from their very high levels of earlier this year, but they are still well above historical averages.
- The details around profitability and capacity utilisation, which for some time have been suggesting that the labour market will remain strong, will be of particular interest.
