Details of the August 2015 UK trade balance data report 9 October 2015

  • Prior -11.08bn. Revised to -12.203bn
  • Non-EU balance -3.765bn vs -2.50bn exp. Prior -3.461bn. Revised to -4.782bn
  • Exports 5.4% vs -9.5% prior. Revised to -6.9%
  • Imports 0.4% vs 0.5% prior. Revised to 4.6%

That's some swing for imports on the revision as well as a jump in exports, which hasn't helped the deficit
