BOE Feb UK quarterly inflation expectations reading lowest since May 2005

Britons expectations for inflation over next 12 months fell to 2.1% in February from 2.8% in November, the lowest since May 2005, according a quarterly bank survey.

The BOE/Gfk inflation attitudes survey showed the public thought inflation was 4.2% last month, down from 4.9% in November, the biggest quarterly fall in estimates of current inflation since the survey began in 1999.
