Johnson confirms BBC report
Boris Johnson says election will follow if parliament votes against deal today.
"With regret the bill will have to be pulled and we'll have to go forward to a general election," he said.
There's an important caveat that Johnson added. He said that if the EU extension is until January 31, then it will call an election. However, that doesn't preclude an extension for a few weeks.
