Comments by the Chinese foreign ministry
This has a hint of suggestion that they have not officially signed off on the deal and are pending a decision on whether or not they can commit to what the US is asking of them.
I reckon they're likely weighing up that option against the offsetting of tariffs that Trump is said to have offered as per overnight reports. But at least they're not really tossing the deal aside so there's still hope for a more positive outcome.
