- The high reached $57.15
- OPEC and non OPEC oil producers are moving toward deciding whether to extend production cuts further further into 2018 (perhaps to the end of 2018), when they meet on November 30th in Vienna. They have already agreed to limit output to 1.8 million barrels per day until March 2018.
- OPEC increase the forecast for 2018 demand for its crude oil by 360,000 barrels per day.
- Inventories are 154 million barrels above the five-year average
