German Dax and Italy's FTSE MIB the big losers for the week
The European major stock indices are closing lower on the day:
- German DAX tumbled -2.1%
- France's CAC fell -1.7%
- UK's FTSE fell 1.0%
- Spain's Ibex fell -2.0%
- Italy's FTSE MIB fell -2.51%
- Portugal's PSI 2012-0.24%
The tumble today, wiped out any gains for the week The UK FTSE is the only index that closed higher and it was by the most narrow of margins (+0.1%). The German Dax fell -1.52% on the week. Italy's FTSE MIB was the weakest at -2.3%.
