Positive tones seen in early trades
But I don't expect this to last when the cash equity market opens later. Asian equities are fast giving up their gains with the Hang Seng index turning flat on the day now - pretty much telling European investors that "it's up to you now to decipher the moves from Wall Street yesterday".
And with E-minis trading 0.3% lower on the day now, it's likely we'll see European cash equity markets trade mildly positive at the start rather than going off to the races with solid gains.
