The 1.2780 level has given way in the EUR/USD but we have not raced ahead just yet. The EUR/GBP has also broken back above the important 0.8800 level, reaching a high of 0.8830 so far but looking like it could head higher to retest 0.8900.
The EUR/JPY appears to be behind the recent move higher in the EURO with it making headway above 122.00 now.
