Atlanta Fed Pres. speaks to reporters
He adds:
- he is not seen evidence that US economy is slowing faster than expected, still expects growth at or slightly above trend
- he does not yet have a hard target number set for the appropriate size of the Fed's balance sheet
- did not expect consumption as strong this year as last; some ramp down in consumer spending not unexpected
- says expects 2.3 to 2.5% growth this year, above trend of just below 2%
- still a little short of neutral but in no rush to move policy again; sees one rate hike hike this year
