The ugly contest has been reduced to two participants it would seem with both the USD and the JPY falling heavily. These trends are well entrenched and it would seem pointless to try fighting them in the short-run. We can again look to EUR/JPY and AUD/JPY for volatility during the Asian session and both pairs seem to have recommenced their medium term uptrends.
